Terms of Use

These terms set the ground rules for using apps, websites, and related services provided by Claude Ltd.

Effective 31 August 2026

1. Agreement

By downloading, accessing, or using a Claude Ltd product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the product. If a product includes additional terms, those terms apply alongside these Terms and control only where they conflict.

2. Licence

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use our apps for their intended purpose, subject to these Terms and the rules of the platform from which you obtained them. Unless a custom licence is presented, apps obtained through Apple's App Store are also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

3. Acceptable use

You may not misuse our services, interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorised access, evade technical limits, distribute malware, infringe another person's rights, or use the services in violation of law. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute an app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Paid downloads, in-app purchases, and subscriptions are billed and managed by the relevant app marketplace. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling are subject to the marketplace terms and the information shown at purchase. You can manage App Store subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

5. Ownership

Our apps, websites, branding, design, code, and content are owned by Claude Ltd or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

6. Updates and availability

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue a product or feature. We aim to provide reliable products, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device, operating-system version, or third-party service.

7. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claude Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of a service. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected service during the twelve months before the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using our services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms or if necessary to protect users, our services, or legal compliance. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

10. Governing terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Claude Ltd is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections and any right to bring a claim in your home jurisdiction remain unaffected.

11. Changes and contact

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law. Questions can be sent to i@claudeltd.store.
